Dr Rajeev Sood is amongst the most reputed and experienced Urology & Transplant surgeons in India with more than two decades of super specialization in urology and Uro- Oncology.

A graduate of the 1976 batch of the Armed Forces Medical College he has a shining academic career having been a Gold medalist all through MBBS, MS and MCh. As a surgeon, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India, for stellar performance beyond the call of duty.

He has to his credit more than 500 renal transplants with excellent outcomes he also had the credit of doing the first cadaver transplant and the first Laproscopic live donor nephrectomy in the Armed Forces.

He is the driving force behind the Green Light Laser Prostatectomy programme which he started in India, in the year 2003. He has been active in the academic field and has been a respected teacher and faculty at numerous Indian and International Conferences and operative workshops and has numerous publications to his credit.
