Why come India for Male Infertility Treatment – Male Infertility Treatment available at World Class Hospitals in India

Male Infertility Treatment Male infertility is due to low sperm production, misshapen or immobile sperm, or blockages that prevent the delivery of sperm. Illnesses, injuries, chronic health problems, lifestyle choices and other factors can play a role in causing male infertility. The global incidence of infertility is about 13–18%, to which male infertility contributes approximately 50%. In India, nearly 10% of all married couples experience infertility despite unprotected intercourse.

Male factor infertility and female factor infertility contribute equally to a couple’s infertility. Treatment of male infertility depends on the cause how long you’ve been infertile, your age and personal preferences. Often, an exact cause of infertility can’t be identified. Even if an exact cause isn’t clear, your doctor may be able to recommend treatments that work.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) involves preparing the male partners sperm in the laboratory and then placing those sperm which move well, into the women’s uterus.

It is an OPD procedure and does not cause pain. The technique involves placing the d sperms directly into the uterus using a vaginal speculum and a fine catheter to deposit the sperm within the uterus (womb) through the neck of the womb. Insemination is carried out once or twice during a woman’s fertile period of the menstrual cycle as close to ovulation as possible. Fertility medications may be needed to stimulate the ovaries to produce eggs.

The introduction of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) has revolutionised the management of male infertility. Here, a single sperm is injected directly into an egg; this procedure is most commonly used to overcome male infertility problems.

Following egg retrieval, sperm is injected into the egg. About 70 percent of eggs get fertilised. Fertilisation is confirmed 18-24 hours after retrieval. ICSI is a highly successful technique used to help couples who have previously failed to achieve conception with standard IVF.
