About Doctor:

Dr. Vashistha Maniar did his M.D medicine from prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Sion hospital, Mumbai and did his DM in Medical and Paediatric Oncology and Hemato-Oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad, an apex regional cancer centre and one of the largest cancer care center in Asia. He has had a glittering academic career, which includes procuring a gold medal in his D.M examination.

He has a strong inclination for teaching and is well known for his clinics to undergraduate and post graduate students. His special areas of interest include solid malignancies like Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, GI Cancers, Bone Cancers, Pediatric / Childhood cancers, Leukemia, Lymphomas and Myeloma. He has also been a part of multiple successful bone marrow and stem cell transplantations. He has also been trained in treatment of various benign blood / hematological disorders like aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia etc.

He is certified by the European Board of Medical oncology ESMO (2015) and underwent advanced training for treatment and management of lymphomas and leukaemia at the University of Giessen, Germany. He is a regular speaker at national oncology conferences like ASCO, ICON and GI oncology meets.

Dr. Maniar is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology and Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology. He has authored two conference papers and two journal articles.
