Dr (Col) V P Singh is an acclaimed physician who served in the Indian Army is one of the eminent Oncologists who serve his services while having experience of more than 39 years. He had won the Mani Gold Medal for best work in rural health in 1974. Dr. Singh has been awarded an International Union against Cancer (UICC) fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He has possessed the capacity to use his mastery in the treatment of highly complex head and neck tumors, Gastro-intestinal and Lung diseases and organ safeguarding medical procedures in breast, larynx and limbs.
Experience
He is a senior member of the Comprehensive, multidisciplinary state of art facility of Apollo Cancer Institute. He has worked as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at the malignant diseases treatment centres of large teaching hospitals of the Armed Forces for 18 years. He has been further trained at The Tata Memorial Hospitals, Mumbai and the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. He carried over two decades of dedicated oncology experience to Batra Hospital and PSRI, New Delhi.
