Dr. Akshat Malik is a highly specialized Head & Neck cancer surgeon. He is one of the few surgeons who hold a M Ch degree in Head & Neck surgery. He completed his Masters in Surgery (MS) from Delhi University. Thereafter, he was trained in the Head & Neck cancer surgery from the highly coveted Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai where he completed M Ch in Head & Neck surgery. For six years, he learnt and refined the art and craft of managing all spectrums of head and neck cancers in a multi-disciplinary and evidenced based manner.

He was selected for a competitive Royal College of Surgeon’s senior clinical fellowship in advanced head & neck surgery from the prestigious Imperial College, London. There he got an international perspective into managing head and neck cancers and also enhanced his exposure and finesse in surgery. As a part of his fellowship he was part of several robotic surgeries and also got an opportunity to perform them independently.

He has been part of various clinical trials and has published extensively in several international journals. He has been an invited reviewer for many prestigious international and national journals. He has also contributed chapters to various authoritative books in the specialty.
