He is one of the well respected and the India. He carries an experience of more than 35 years with expertise treatment of organ specific cancers, Leukemia, Lymphoma and Stem Cell Transplantation. As a part of his effort, He had carried out first 25 bone marrow transplants in any private sector hospital in North India. He was awarded with Padma Shree which is the fourth highest civilian award in the Republic of India for his exceptional contribution in field of Medicine. He has conducted more than 40 international and national studies in clinical research.

He is engaged as Chairman of Division of Medical & Paediatric Oncology, Haematology & Bone Marrow / Stem Cell Transplant at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon since 2016. He was a former Head of the Department of Medical Oncology, Artemis Health Institute; Gurgaon (2009-2016).He started his career as Senior Resident in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 1990.He also worked as a senior consultant in Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital, 1997. He has been a member of prestigious organizations like Breast Cancer Foundation of India, Indian Association of Gynaec Oncologists, Indian Medical Association and Association of Physicians of India.
